The beaches in The Moorings are some of the most popular and beautiful in Naples. The Moorings is one of the largest communities in Naples with about 4,000 single-family homes, condominiums, and villas. The neighborhood is between Park Shore and Coquina Sands. Residents have access to a variety of entertainment venues, restaurants, and retail stores. Community events, neighborhood celebrations, and festivals make The Moorings an exciting and fun place to live. Since the inception of The Moorings in the 1950s, golfing, tennis, fishing, and boating have been three popular activities for residents. 
 
Real estate in The Moorings includes single-family homes and condominiums near the Gulf of Mexico, Doctors Bay, or the Moorings Bay. Condominiums are close enough to walk to the beach. Waterfront homes have dock access and can access the Gulf of Mexico through Doctors Pass. Canopied trees line the streets of The Moorings. It is a quiet and peaceful community to live in.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping 

Naples is known for its excellent seafood, and Sails Restaurant offers impressive seafood towers and European cuisine. Although their menus change seasonally, popular summer items include lobster ravioli, little joe grass-fed prime tenderloin, and whole wood-grilled dorade. 
 
The Osteria Tulia is in a restored Italian farmhouse. They serve rustic Italian dishes reminiscent of what you would find in Sicily kitchens. Their signature cocktails are made with traditional Italian liquors and ingredients. The Chef, Vincenzo Betulia, also created The French Brasserie. It is a streetside restaurant with classic French cuisine in the heart of Naples. 
 
Also in downtown Naples is the Afsona Restaurant. They serve Uzbek and European cuisine in a lovely dining room. Popular entrees include avocado crab meat, homemade dolma, and Afsona’s famous Uzbek palov. 
 

Things to Do 

The Moorings Golf and Country Club is the only private golf course in Naples. It is surrounded by prestigious real estate. The social calendar at the Club is full, with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. The Champagne Sunday Brunch is one of the best in Naples. In addition to the 18-hole golf course, they have a Bocce ball court.  
 
The Naples Pier is one of the most notable landmarks close to Coquina Sands. Residents can fish from the pier and enjoy the surrounding beaches. Cambier Park, in downtown Naples, hosts Concerts in the Park. The Naples Depot Museum has interactive exhibits that are fun for the whole family.
 
Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens provides the opportunity to be up close to exotic animals. For children, they provide camps year-round with interactive educational experiences. The Naples Botanical Garden is a paradise with gardens from around the world covering 170 acres. Themed gardens include Brazil, Asia, Florida, and the Caribbean.
